Dickie Ray has been involved in Entertainment since he was just fourteen. He has fronted many bands over the years, most recently having spent fourteen years as frontman with the Rock 'n' Roll band Purple Heart.
In 2004 Dickie left the band to turn professional and now works as a solo performer performing almost every style of Music from Country to Rock. He recently launched a Tribute show to the Irish Showbands and following the success of this show has now just launched a follow up show comprising an hour long tribute to Joe Dolan.
His programmes on Clanrye reflect his appreciation of all styles of music and therefore anything goes regarding the music played. He actively encourages his listeners to contact the show with their own varied selections and will quite happily air any of your favourites regardless of genre
